The Objects in Motion bag is meant to solve the needs of every yogi who wants something a little extra. Every bag is ethically handmade in NYC by a small studio of artisans who love what they do.
Objects in Motion's sustainability starts with materials. The leather is from Spain, and uses the vegetable tanning process. This process uses natural tannic acids from plants, instead of the traditional chrome tanning process, which uses chemicals. The traditional method also leaves behind a large amount of toxic water and leather that is not biodegradable. Production is kept in NYC, utilizing local artisans that own their own shops in the Garment District. This is a struggling area and dying industry for NYC, as most production has left for overseas. These artisans love what they do and have a very close relationship with the brand through every step of the process.
